Latvian Dainas
The corpus consists of folk songs published in Volume 2 of "Latvju dainas" (1894–1915), the first complete scholarly edition of Latvian folk songs compiled by Krišjānis Barons. The volume contains 47,781 folk song texts. The texts were recorded between 1770 and 1903 in Latvian and Latgalian (this corpus includes only folk songs in Latvian 46,576). The volume was published in 1903. Digitization of the edition began in 1999, and the revised version was developed between 2019 and 2025.
